Dan Cummins, Information Security Director for Westchester Medical Center Health System will present his experiences in adapting security practices to new modes of operating as the health system quickly adjusted to COVID-related restrictions and demands. In this presentation, Dan will recount the multiple items that COVID forced the security team to address and will discuss in detail the swift but successful implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) to safeguard connections from the newly expanded remote workforce.
